DPS Annual Picnic:
The most awaited day of the year was the DPS’s Annual Picnic to Park.
Park gave an experience of being surrounded by greenery and the beauty of nature. We started at 8.30 am in the morning with prayer and a feeling of a great day ahead. The students were extremely excited and kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue.
We were welcomed by the staff of the park, and students were amazed to see the statue of Dinosaur, Tiger, Elephant and the adventure equipment. Two rooms were provided to freshen up and keep the belongings. A delicious breakfast was followed by a tour of the park where the students were excited and shook their legs to the thumping dance numbers which were played near the pool. They even created a few crazy steps and the teachers too joined the fun.
The next place visited was the green grass lawn where the students played a few games like “Blind Fold” and “Passing the buck” .Every child was given an opportunity to participate and enjoy themselves.
The most enjoyable time was in the play area with swings, slides, merry-go-round, see saw, and spring animals. After a tiring and fun packed morning we all headed for lunch where we all relished different items of food followed by an ice cream. The group photograph time motivated students to make funny faces for the click!
All the students expressed a desire to revisit the place again. Indeed it was a great day for all the students and teachers, as it strengthened the bond between the students and their teachers. It was a sound and safe return trip by 3.30 pm.
